Go and get a rare candie, and talk to the guy in viridian city and he asks if u
are in a hurry. Say that your not in a hurry. He shows you how to capture
pokemon and when he is finished fly to cinnibar island and put your rare candie
for your 6th item and go on the right tip of cinnibar island and surf half land
half water and get a missingno and run from the battle and check your items and
you will get 130 rare candies !! when u only have one more left do the prosess over
and you will get the rare candies again.......you cando the same thing if you saved
your master ball!
I've Tried It! IT REALLY WORKS!!
,(1) fight some
body who has a game shark & make shure they hav mew as 1 of their 6
pokemon, fight them, make sure they use mew at least once, then after
the battle,u reset & go to the coast of cinnabar island & youll find
wild mews(2)go to s.s.anne(the ship)& make sure u carry some kinda weak
pokemon w/ you, go in but dont fight any one yet, go straight to the
captain, when he gives u HM01(cut), then go fight peple & try to faint
on purpose, when u black out, youll end up at a pokecenter,this way the
ship wont leave, go thru the whole game, beat the elite-4, get all 150
pokemon, then go to the ship, surf around it, youll see an island w/ a
truck & a tree, cut down the tree, theres a pokeball, click on it, youl
get into a fight w/ mew, catchem, hes at level10,well, now you have all
151.–NOTE:( i tried these codes & they work, i now have 151 pokemon,
mew is also in ur pokedex)
GET MEW (pkmn#151) without GAME SHARK or GAME GENIE:
You need a friend and a Game Link Cable. On one game,
start a new file. Proceed to the S.S.ANNE, but DO
NOT BOARD IT. Trade with your friend for a Pok�mon that
can cut rather than getting HM01. Continue through the
game and find HM03 and HM04 (SURF and STRENGTH). Return
to the S.S.Anne. Have a Pok�mon SURF to the right of
the entrance to the dock, and their should be a platform
with a truck on it. Use STRENGTH on the truck to move
it and find a MEW under it!!! It's at level 10. Catch
it with the Master Ball!
"MYSTERIO":
This is the Pok�mon you find when using the ITEM DUPLICATION
trick, already submitted here. I hear that when it reaches
level 96, it evolves into KANGASKHAN or RHYHORN

Just a little thing I thought could go on the secrets or walk-through page. There are five
Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of which are not.
1) In the upper-lefthand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon.
2) In the basement of the game corner.
3) In the bottom-right corner of Route 2 (CUT).
4) In Mt. Moon, before the supernerd's platform, there is a corridor 4 spaces long and 1
space wide, go to the end of it and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone.
5) In the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, go up to the right side of one of the
pillars on the right-hand side near the entrance hit A and it will say you found a Moon
Stone.

First have a pokemon with surf and surf up and down the coast of cinnabar islands.
Eventually you might fight called missingno.. its pretty crap but does lots of damage but
is easy to kill. it looks like a mass of dots flying around. just throw balls at it to
catch it. Be warned, having this pokemon can crash your game and stuff up the graphics
(all your pokemon and the enemy ones can get all warped). it is number 000 in the pokedex
and doesnt havent an entry. it has a high attack but all its other stats are really low.
It may also screw up your game. If you dont want to risk your game dont catch it.
Trade Pokemon on NO$GMB AND REW <EMULATORS>
TO TRADE ON REW:
THIS IS WAAAY EASIER THAN NO$GMB, SO I RECCOMEND IT!!
1. JUST OPEN UP TWO INSTANCES OF THE REW EMULATOR, (RUN IT
TWO TIMES)
2. Visit the pokemon center on one of the Machines... and VOILA!!!

You'r all probably as excited as I am, because lots of people have been asking me "JUST HOW THE HELL DO I TRADE POKEMON ON THE EMULATOR?!?!" Well I took matters into my own hands and found out for ya!!!! Here's the steps: I'd recommend printing them out, just so its easier to follow STEP by STEP. I know its complicated but IT DOES WORK, IVE TESTED IT!!
| 1. First your gonna have to get a hold of the emulator (it only works with NO$GMB) goto : www.davesclassics.com 2. First go through both the RED and the BLUE versions of the game (MAKE SURE TO SAVE) getting what ever pokemon you want to trade. 3. Ok so you've found some pokemon on the RED and BLUE versions that you want to trade so, now your going to exit the Emulator and go into Windows Explorer (provided you have Win95/98) or Filemanager with Win 3.1 4 . goto the directory where "NO&GMB" is located EG: C :\ Emus\gameboy , and then proceed to the "BATTERY" directory found inside "C : \ Emus\gameboy" this is where NO&GMB saves your POKEMON SAVEGAMES. 5. RENAME "POKERED.SAV" to ---> "POKEBLUE.SV2" and then go back into NO&GMB 6. Without loading the ROM press "F11" to enter the EMULATION SETUP FOR NO$GMB. 7. Near the bottom of that window there will be a "thing" saying how many gameboys to LOAD set it to "TWO" 8. Also while your in the EMU Setup. make sure you set up the Second game boy's Controller. 9. Next Load "POKEMON BLUE" If you load POKEMON RED IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!! 10. You will notice that it has loaded TWO gameboys side by side. Next move the MOUSE CURSOR All the way over to the left and click, it will bring up a menu, Click on LINK, you may have to do this TWICE, if it worked you will see the Right gameboy reset. 11. Go into a POKE CENTER on EACH GAMEBOY AND WHACKAMAZOO! YOU CAN TRADE!! TADA!!! |

To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park, first go into the park. Let
the time run out when you're standing in a patch of grass which holds the Pokemon you want
to catch. Step back outside and use FLY to Fly back to Cinnabar Island. Using SURF, surf
up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the
water. You should then enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon! No more bait or rocks!
It's sleep and Psybeam time! This also works with other areas of the game where you find
wild Pokemon. Experiment and see what happens!
Unlimited chances to catch rare Pokemon

Did you ever run into one of those Pokemon that you can only catch once? Here is a good
trick to get as many shots as you want to catch those Pokemon! First ,find a rare Pokemon
such as a Mewtwo. Then, right before you go into battle with it, save the game at that
point. Finally, you can battle the Pokemon without worrying that you didn't catch it. If
you screw up and you make it faint, just stop where you are and shut off the game.Then you
can turn it back on, select continue and presto! You should be saved right before getting
into battle with the Pokemon!
Better Chance To Capture Pokemon

There is a code for the USA version (it might work for the Japanese version too) to catch
Pokemon easier. When you throw a Poke-ball hold down "A" button as it closes on
the Pokemon. The poke-ball will shut tighter and it will be easier to catch the Pokemon.
Harder Hitting Attacks

This code is sorta like the "Better Chance to Catch Pokemon" code but it's for
attack. Just hold the A button while your attacking and it will do more damage than if you
didn't hold A.
*Clone Pokemon (US) Submitted by Kingmog55
You need a friend for this. Trade the pokemon to be cloned and have you friend get a
pokemon they dont care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the bad pokemon
can see the other's screen. When the reciever of the good pokemon's screen says
"waiting", get ready to shut the other one off. When waiting disapears, turn off
the Game Boy that's getting the bad pokemon. When the other one says trade completed, turn
that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the pokemon. Warning!
This could delete a saved game!

Fishing Guide
Please note, because there are different types of

It's wierd, but you can fish in statues! Simply use the rod! Sometimes you can find rare
water Pokemon this way.

In the casino above the guy with the glasses that you usually find in gyms is a slot
machine with great odds. The way I got a porygon was simple but still long. Save the game
when you hit the jackpot After a while the game is fixed and you will either get multiple
wins, or hit the jackpot- doing that you eventually start to win several hundred at a
time. By hitting the a button rapidly it sets a pattern to make sure you now when the
jackpot comes up- the slot machine starts to slow down.

Requires:2 linkable game boy systems,2 pokemon games(any color),and a game link cable
NOTE:Make sure that Game Boy B takes Bulbasaur to start and then you`ll see the rest of
the code below.
1.Start a new game with Game Boy A
2.Go to proff. Oak`s and get Squirtle
3.Go to nearest pokemon center and trade squirtle to game Boy B
4.Start new game with Game Boy A
5.Repeat 2-4
6.Go to proff. Oak`s and get Charmander
7.Go to nearest pokemon center and trade Charmander to Game Boy B
8.Start new game with Game Boy A
9.Repeat 6-8
10.Go to Proff Oak`s and get Bulbasaur
Game Boy B should have 2 Squirtles and 2 Charmanders,so trade one of each back to Game Boy

Japanese Version Codes
There are codes out for the Japanese version, but they don't work for the US versions.
That's because they were really glitches, and since have been fixed. So many people have
asked me to post the codes for the Japanese Version. I don't know why that is, but here
they are anyway. If you do have a Japanese version, keep in mind these codes could erase
your current game. THE CODES BELOW DO NOT WORK FOR THE U.S. VERSIONS!!!
Myuu Code
First have a Koikingu at the top of the list. Then go to Lavender Town, and go to the name
rater. Change Koikingu's name. Go to your Items and press select eight times on the 13th
item from the top. Go back and change Koikingu's name again, and he will turn into Myuu!
Level 100 Code
Go into battle and place an ability you do not want on your pokemon at the bottom by
pressing Select. Go to the Item List and go down the to the seventh item from the top,
press Select on it, and exit out. Go into a battle and press select on the bottom ability,
and then attack the enemy and defeat it, without pressing select again. The Pokemon will
then be L:100, but the ability you pressed select on will be gone! It's health bar may do
some wierd stuff, but just go to a Poke Center and he'll be good as new.
Pokemon Duplicate Code
First, have 6 Pokemons. Among of them, one is that you want to copied (you can't copy one
with a HM or TM ability), and the one that is to be overwritten. Place the Pokemon to be
copied at the bottom. Put 5 Pokemon in your PC without the Pokemon to be multiplized. Take
4 Pokemon of the five from your PC. Make sure that you have the one to be overwritten.
Place Pokemon to be overwritten at the bottom spot and the Pokemon to be copied at the
top. Push the start button and go to the items menu. Push select on the 6th item. Then
push the B button twice. Go into a wild Pokemon battle. When it starts, send out the 6th
Pokemon (to be overwritten). It will then disappear from display. Push the B button and
select run away. Go to the Pokemon Daycare. The daycare guy will ask you if you want a
pokemon back. Take the pokemon he offers back. It is the same pokemon you got is the same
as the 1st Pokemon.

Wierd Secrets
[man on post]
On route 6, just north of Vermilion city, go up till the left row of posts
are across the top of the screen. Hit start, there should be a man on the
post, try on both the left and right, it may take a few trys before you get
it.
[person going through the wall]
If you go to the tollboth out of Celadon to bike road, without a bike, and go
TOTALLY STRAIGHT you will see a person going through the wall
[person appears in the middle of the floor]
With the weird secret on how to make that guy appear in the wall near
cycling road first go upstairs than do the trick and instead of the man
appearing on the wall he appears in the middle of the floor!
[DIG and SURF]
Not really a secret but fun! All you need is DIG and SURF. You can dig while
your in water!
[Bike music without riding a bike]
this trick is easy and works on both versions.
1.when you are in the caves on the seafoam islands, ride your bike and you
will hear the bike music.
2.Now fall down a hole while still on the bike.
3.you will be of your bike but you will still hear the bike music! It stops
if you press start
[Fish through people's heads]
I found a code similar to akis statue code
after ya deafeet misty go to the swimmer who is swimming ,and use the fishing
rod(any kind)
THe rod will go through his head!!!!!!!!
this trick is sorta neat try it

Go to seafoam island. makesure you have a pokemon with SURF equiped. also
make sure you don't have the secret key to the gym. now swim. go to the up to
the gym. go left to get on land and go to the door. you should get the DOOR
LOCKED message, but you will also see a man on the roof it works on both
versions
[Person standing on top of half land and water]
Worked on blue version
1.Go to the Northern part of Cerulean City.(where there are bridge, but don't
go in route24 yet.)
2.Go to left side of the bridge and walk forward to route24.
3.When you see a land on the top left, press start fast as you can.
4.And there should be person standing on the half land and water on the top
left.
[Surf on a Statue]
When you fight the Elite Four you can SURF into the first persons statue!
Stand faceing it and go under pokemon to SURF and you SURF right into it!
works on both versons.
[The guy taking a snooze on top of house]
In Saffron, go to the street with the Silph Co. building. (Go when the guy is
taking a snooze.) Go to the top of the houses and walk right. The man
taking a snooze might be on top of the houses on the bottom. If he is, it
only lasts for about 2 seconds.
[Ghost Alakazam]
When your Alakazam is Critical, Send him in to battle and he makes the cry of
a Gastly! It is a weird bug!!!!
Get Psybur:
O1F264D1 first enter the code in gameshark then set the swith on your
gameshark to normal. Put the pokemon of your choice on the top of your list.
turn on the switch.goto lavendar town and rename that pokemon PSYBUR (in
caps). then you have Psybur he is #209.
Get Pokemaniac
01C264D1 first enter the code in gameshark then set the swith on your
gameshark to normal. Put the pokemon of your choice on the top of your list.
turn on the switch.goto lavendar town and rename that pokemon POKEMANIAC (in
caps) now you have pokemaniac He is number 234.
Get HIFISHI (THIS ONE IS HARD!!!!)
First have 151 Pok�mon then in the 6 pok�mon that you carry have numbers 1-6,
also you have to have ALL the unevolved forms too. Then in all the boxes have
Pok�mon 7-151 ALL in order. Then go to the entrance of the unknwon dungeon
and DONOT go in instead swim in the water right of it and go up and take a
right. Then use your item finder until it finds an item. Then use your
Pok�flute and it will say HIFISHI awoke in rage, then it will get into battle
and you will have the safari zone choises of rock and bait, throw 5 baits 5
rocks and 6 balls to catch, then its not done yet once you cath him the bins
will have no room, so let ALL pok�mon go accept for Mew, and then from the
entrance of the unknwon dungeon with only one Pok�mon use the super rod into
the water while on the bike, then a ditto will apear, catch it and it will be
Pok�mon No.-001, and then save the game and beat the game with just these two
pok�mon and you will have ALL your pok�mon back.
